Note to readers: correction on last blog

I desperately need to clarify something I wrote on my last blog, because I am afraid I have been terribly misunderstood by several people. This was written in my last post:

Short message to Aaron: You keep your terrible, awful, painful music away from our child. You hear me? If I ever see him headbanging to Journey, James Taylor, or the Beatles, I will know what happened.

You see, this might sound like I do not like those musicians, when the truth is I am obsessed with them. The loud, obnoxious, painful to the ears kind of music Aaron listens to is the kind of music you bang your head to, scream at the top of your lungs, and pump your fist to. My music does not require that kind of strenuous activity. What I was referring to in that last post was that Clark WILL BE listening to my music (James Taylor, Journey, and the Beatles), and Aaron is not allowed to pollute his ears with his distasteful crap. And I will know that Aaron has disobeyed my order if Clark and I are in my car listening to the peaceful, relaxing voice of James Taylor and he starts banging his head or holding up his hand in the "rock and roll" position.

In summary, I just want to make it clear that I am the one with good musical taste and Aaron absolutely has zero class when it comes to music. It all boils down to the fact that I don't want to "Hey Jude" to come on the radio and see Clark banging his head to it because he is used to listening to nasty Nirvana with his Daddy. Does that make more sense? I'm afraid I won't have much control over this child, mainly because he is the son of Aaron Rice, a human being I definitely can't control. But when it comes to music, I'm going to die trying.
